Hey there ladies!!
.I am 16 weeks pregnant and the other day when I was sitting down I felt something kinda weird in my stomach. But everytime I put my hand there to feel it, it'd stop. It felt kinda like a fluttering going on. Is that the baby moving or is it still too soon? I felt it for about 10 minutes the other day and yesterday not so much. I turned off all the lights lastnight and put a flashlight on my stomach and I felt it some more. Is it the baby moving around? I hope so. Smile
.And if it is, when will I beable to feel it more to where me and my fiance can put our hand there and feel him/her kick?

I would have to say that you are feeling the baby moving. I am not sure when you and your husband will be able to feel the baby move but I want to say that I remember it being around the 5th or 6th month. I remember with my first son I was about 8 months along and I was sitting in a recliner chair with a night shirt on just after taking a shower. My ex was sitting on the couch next to the chair hw looked over at me and he could physically could see my shirt being pushed around and he was actually kind of disgusted by it. He said it looked like the part from the movie Aliens when the alien was about to pop out of the womens stomach. When my oldest would move he would push his hand or foot against my stomach and slowly push it over to the other side there would be times where I would take my hand and hold it against my stomach to stop him from moving becasue he would push so hard. He laughs now when I tell him that story and he likes to hear that part of the story. remember these times while your pregnant your child will love to hear about them as they get older. Good luck and enjoy every part of the next nine months.

Awe that's too cute. I can't wait to see the baby moving. That's gotta feel so weird though. My mom told me to watch out at times because the baby could kick your ribs and that hurts really badly. She said I did that to her a few times. But she said you will be amazed at watching your stomach move and feeling them "butterfly movements". I am 16 weeks today so I have a month or two left before I can actually feel him/her moving Smile

i dont know if its the baby or not, i didnt realize i was feeing the baby for like 3 weeks, but i guess ive been feeling her since like 16 or 17 weeks i think, so not too soon

but dont nessesarly expect your boyfriend/fiencee to feel it, i can feel her when i lay my hand on my belly but everytime my husband does she completly stops moving, shes a stubborn little one

I felt the baby move right around then to but it was few and far imbetween. My hubby was able to feel it at around 20 weeks..you guys have to just be patient and youll have to lay still.. Now im 23 almost 24 weeks and she never stops moving! She kicks hard too..Enough to get me to flinch not out of pain just out of surprise. Well it gets more noticeable have him press down with some pressure and then he may be able to feel it more... I think its the coolest thing ever to see Smile

My 2 1/2 year old nephew has taken to poking my belly whenever he sees me and says 'auntie danni, look, baby getting fat'. It's so sweet because he doesn't really understand what being pregnant means but he knows that there going to be a baby and it's got something to do with my belly. he also thinks he's my doctor, bless him.

Oh Lordy Lordy! And I thought I'd have another 3-4 weeks 'til I feel my baby! Ahh, what if it happens next week when I'm away. My mum will be so crushed. I'm scared now! lol. I think I'll freak out majourly when I feel this baby move, just 'cos I freak out imagining him/her move let alone feeling it!

if your away when you feel the first movement, just call your mum straight off, and make sure you tell her she was the firstone you told, then she *shouldnt* be as sad about it, its highly unlikely shed be able to feel the first movement anyway, usualy only the mommy can feel it...notthe mommys mommy or anyoneelse for that matter lol
