Q: Boils In Armpits

Hello guys,

it has been about a week now since I first got this. After 2 days of having this I went to the doctor and he prescribed me a antibiotic (sulfamethoxazole). I have been taking it 2 times a day. My condition remained the same over those days. I looked online and found out that icthamol ointment (known as black salve, drawing salve) helped the process of bringing the boils to head and bursting them. I went to the store and bought it and applied it the same day. I also got campho-phenique and applied that also. Two days later (today) all of my boils are gone except for three of them. The boils that are left are right where my arpit folds down and there is no sign of pus in the remaining boils and I have tried to squeeze them to get pus out but nothing happened. Is there anything I can do to remove those boils or shall I just continue to wait it out.

Another thing is one of the boils was large and now it has gone. Where the boil used to be is a hole, where it bleeds often when I shower or clean the area. Now today when I looked at it I notice it has stopped bleeding and when I stretch that area of the skin there is a hole there, I can see a hole and I am a little scared. Should I be worried about the bacteria eating away my skin?

Please help me and any comments are much appreciated.

Thanks again
