So....for the past week, .oni has been off of the bottle completely. ANd drinking from regular cups, as well as her sippy cups.

But, now, she doesn't want me to spoon feed her her foods. At all. She wants to do it *herself*.

Now, I let her do her thang, but I'm wondering, is she getting enough?

She puts the spoon from the bowl, to her mouth. But eventually uses her hands. She crams loads of food in her mouth, but I just don't know *exactly* how much she's getting.

After she eats she'll drink her milk. ANd want to get down. SO I should have no worries....right?

::sigh:: I don't like this whole "growing up" thing.

Ok, off to the .w.i.c office we gooooo!

Sounds like she is getting plenty!! What a big girl. I think it's great that you keep the spoon there, so she associates it with eating.

it's great sometimes when .baron tries to get her to lay on him and she won't.
As soon as she gets in my arms, she literally passes out.

At that moment, I know that she's still my wittle baba! I'm so sappy. My rag should come either today or tonorrow, or the next day.

a min ago she was playing with ehr stroller (that was folded up) and it tipped forward on her.

SO I went to lift it up (fiercly because I Had the impression that it made her fall backwards and smack her head on the ground!)!

Well when I lifted it, her entire body came up with it!!!! Shocked Shocked Shocked

Her head was stuck between the tray and where she sits. I guess she was trying to climb in it and got stuck!!!
So I pulled that red lever that allows the tray to open up and she came out!!!

All of this happened within 5 seconds, literally.

SHe's napping now and I'm doin hella laundry!

Shocked at the baby eating stroller

Sarah, I dunno if you do already or not, but if she's getting into feeding herself have you tried more "finger food" type stuff rather than soft spoony stuff?

Well it's her large stroller that has like a tray and a cup holder for the babas to snack on, or pull up on to get a better view.

She wasn't sitting in it, it was folded up and I guess she *wanted* to sit it in. But her head is massive (like her mommy's) and she got stuck!
yea, she gets peas, beets, carrots, eggs, beans, rasberries, grapes, fruity cheerios, toast, bagels, etc.

Anything she can eat, I'll give her.

I just feel like she *needs* some cereal. Ya know? Cuz veggies burn off faster than her cereal. ANd I don't wanna load her up with starches(enriched of course, whole wheat I don't mind).

And she still gets 6 oz of milk about 4 times a day. And she sucks down at least 2 cup fulls or more of water in a day.
