I am a 25 year old female very involved in sports and healthy. For almost two months I have been feeling very fatigued, I have been getting many unexplained bruises which are not going away, mostly on my legs, and I have been experiencing bone pain with weight bearing. My doctor thinks it is a stress fracture and told me to rest. She also did blood work which showed elevated neutrophils and monocytes. This worried me but I was told I probably had a cold. I am not getting better and all my symptoms seem to be getting worse. My wandering mind goes to bone cancer or some cancer of the blood. Could there be another explaination other than a cold and a stress fracture to explain the blood work, bruising, bone pain, and fatigue?

Thanks Smile

Hello Piobaire,

About your problem..I suggest that why not research the signs that you've just felt...So that all your doubts and questions can be answer...Just like my sister when she felt something strange in her body she automatically check it in the internet or in some encyclopedia..After that she finds out that she had a cyst in her right breast...That cyst of her had been cured because she discovered it earlier. Why not do the same.

Hope this helps!
