Hello,

I am new to this site and not really sure if this is the best forum to post my question in but here goes......

I am a 25 year old female very involved in sports and healthy. For almost two months I have been feeling very fatigued, I have been getting many unexplained bruises which are not going away, mostly on my legs, and I have been experiencing bone pain with weight bearing. My doctor thinks it is a stress fracture and told me to rest. She also did blood work which showed elevated neutrophils and monocytes. This worried me but I was told I probably had a cold. I am not getting better and all my symptoms seem to be getting worse. Could there be another explaination other than a cold and a stress fracture to explain the blood work, bruising, bone pain, and fatigue?

Thanks Smile

Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with these blood tests. There could be many, many, many things that are causing your symptoms. How long ago did you have these tests done? Did you doctor say if they would repeat the tests to track your improvement? I am sorry that you are going through this. I always thought the hardest thing was not knowing what is going on with me. Hopefully they will get to the bottom of things!
