Hmm okay you can get a yeast infection from alot..Umm using perfume lotions anything like that down below..Umm differnt soaps that are scented..Not wiping enough..Having sex in the watre is also not good..But u can also just get them but those are some of the main causes..U can tell you have one beacsue it will be alot itchier down there..Your pee can be alot stronger, you can have a weird smell down there and a diff kind of whiteish yellow discharge..Nothing to get alarmed about u cant get treated really fast:) but ocne you have one u are prone to them the rest of your life:) hope I helped..
