Hmm okay you can get a yeast infection from alot..Umm using perfume lotions anything like that down below..Umm differnt soaps that are scented..Not wiping enough..Having sex in the watre is also not good..But u can also just get them but those are some of the main causes..U can tell you have one beacsue it will be alot itchier down there..Your pee can be alot stronger, you can have a weird smell down there and a diff kind of whiteish yellow discharge..Nothing to get alarmed about u cant get treated really fast:) but ocne you have one u are prone to them the rest of your life:) hope I helped..Smile

Yeast infection is a type of vaginitis, or inflammation of the vagina. It is caused by a proliferation of Candida, a fungus that normally lives in the vagina and other body parts. There are four types of Candida. However, a variety of Candida albicans (C. albicans) causes the vast majority of infections.
May Several factors promote the proliferation of C. albicans in the vagina, including but not limited to:
• Pregnancy and other causes of hormonal changes
• Diabetes, particularly non -
• Birth control pills
• drugs (eg steroids, antibiotics)
• weakened immune system
