Q: Questions For the Doctor

i know that after a hyterectomy that you can not become pregnant. I am regreting that i did have a hysterectomy because i did want to have another child. i have 3 already. but anyway, can i try having a seragant mother carry my child for me. or is it just absolutely over for me to have children.

You mean surrogate.

this is possible if you have your ovaries still.
if your ovaries were removed also then I am afraid that this is an impossibility.

You need to ask your doctor/ob/gyn to put you in touch with a reputable surrogacy agency.

Do not answer ads from newspapers.
It is illegal to advertise for a surrogate.
You will be expected to pay all medical costs for the surrogate and expenses at the very minimum.

The agency will be able to give you much more information.
