Q: Is This a Concern?

Hey my friend asked me if a question; there are small 'bumps' in his penis skin, he described them as really tiny pimples, lol. He said that when he 'pulls' the skin down, he sees them. They don't really hurt or anything but he's scared if it's some kind of disease. He tried scratching them off but it won't work, he's a bit younger than me so he's around 12. And I guess he's been masturbating... What is his problem? He wanted me to find some information so I think it'll be best if I post this question here, can anyone help? His guess is that it's after he pees, he doesn't clean his penis and the urine might just stick there and form those stuff. He also said they look like spores, and that they're really small, like half the size of this aprostrophie: '. There are a few of them but not all over the penis, just some in his skin when he pulls his upper skin down. He also mentioned that sometimes his penis feels sore, I guess it's his masturbating too hard, lol! Also sometimes the 'nerves' in his penis becomes more visible.

He's kind of worried, anyone know what's his problem?

Thanks

It's not a problem actually, I think every man has them. I believe they're simply hair pores or whatever they're called.

The bumps could be pearly penile papules, in which case they would be normal and nothing to worry about. They have nothing to do with cleanliness. If you google it, you can easily find pictures of them. He could look at look them if he wants to and see if that is what his bumps look like.

You are right that he might be sore from masturbating too much.

I am wondering if you mean that his veins are more visible as opposed to his nerves? If it is the veins he is seeing (blueish lines), then that is normal too.

So all of the things that you described could be very normal things and nothing to worry about, however, we can't see any of this stuff for ourselves, and even if we could it's pretty tough to diagnose over the internet. It does not sound like he needs to be too concerned, but there is never any harm in having him ask his doctor just in case.

what he has sounds a lot like fordyce's spots. look it up on www.wikipedia.com. you'll find a picture there. they are harmless, both men and women get them, and they're no cause for concern!
