guys help.. anyhow im a little nervous i know this doesnt have to do with pregnancy but im not sure what topic it would fall under.. anyhow i went to the doctor for postpartum checkup and i had a different doc look at me.. anyhow i was having extreme abdominal pain that just started the past couple days. so the midwife asked for a surgen.. a surgen different from the one that did my c-section basically told me that my surgern f'd up and that from the feel and pain my surgen probably sutchered my fascia and my abdominal muscle together.. they arent supposed to be together one is supposed to slide back and forth under the other.. well not now.. so he thinks ill need a revision.. i dont want surgery again! Anyhow the other thing was the two docs looked at each other like not again.. that this is the handy work of my surgen.. like its happened many a times.. how messed up! what am i supposed to do.. and a doc isnt supposed to imply that another messed up.. any advice or has anyone gone through this! please anything would be great

Wow. I haven't had a c-section, but that sounds so painful! I would definitely consult an attorney and ask if this sounds like malpractice or if it's one of those fluke things that happens sometimes.

As far as your pain and a possible second surgery, I wish you the best of luck and hope you'll keep us updated! Sad

Wow. I am not a "law suit crazy" person but if this whole mistake will cause you to reduce your lifestyle then I would say that you have a case. I would be really upset. So, are they saying that even with corrective surgery, you won't be able to do the things you once did??

Well I know a lot of people advise against researching online, but maybe you should do some searches to see how common your current condition is after a c-section. There might be support groups or online communities for women who have had c-sections. Maybe they would be able to help you further.

At the very least, you might be able to print out any information you find on this and bring it with you if/when you're seen again by a doctor.

I wish I could help you further. This sounds horrible. I wonder if another surgery would allow you to do the things you were doing before - the swimming and exercising, I mean. But like I said, I think you should look further into it before making a decision. And I still think you should at least speak to a lawyer that specializes in this sort of malpractice and see what your legal options are, if any.
