Help, I cant sleep. I am 51 and within the last year I have developed dry itchy skin. I use alot of creams. With out perfumes in them. I feel like I have fleas,, I use to be a sun goddess in my earyly years..I dont know what to try or what to do.. I know I can go see a derm (dr) but I really dont like them and if it gets worse I will. I was jusst wondering if anyone has ever heard of my problem///

Hi susan,

have you started menopause ? Sometimes dry itchy skin is a major symptom of menopause. Otherwise it may be just a simple case of dry skin. I guess the only way to hydrate your skin properly is to drink at least 8 glasses of water every day (yuck), aswell as keep using your moisturises. Have you been to see your doc about it ?
