Q: How will Chemotherapy & heart damage affect Leukemia?

hi, i was wondering what affect the heart damage will have on the prognosis of someone with leukemia..?
will the chemo make the heart worse?
will the leukemia make the heart worse?
it seems like a lose, lose situation..
can you help?
not sure what type of leukemia it is..
im inquiring about a friend

Heart damage will provoke leukemia to worsen. Chemotherapy is necessary for treating leukemia but one of the side effects of chemotherapy is anemia, which indirectly damages the heart.
