She might have hurt herself somehow. Are you able to touch her?

aww .i'm sorry Sad I hope she recovers! Is there anything special she likes to eat? Like fruit or something? Maybe you could give her a small slice of apple (if finches are okay to eat that - I really have no idea).

Oh, okay. I thought maybe she would pick off little bites of the apple slice. But I guess that makes sense.

Poor girl. Sad

If you're able to without hurting her, try to touch the wing that she won't open. You might be able to feel something wrong with it. Just be gentle. If anything, I think the local vet would be able to give you some advice.

Perhaps if you just leave her in a quiet, dark place she will recover. Perhaps she is just shocked/dazed?

You can totally *hear* the phone ringing over the loudspeaker too!! Evil or Very Mad

My dad used to work at a dealership and it was sooo annoying.

Then .baron's brother moved basically right behind it, and that's alllllll he hears!!! It's good for *him* though...he deserves misery!

can't you just drape a blanket over the cage? isn't that what people do to birds to let them know it's time to sleep and be quiet?

That's so sad Sad
I used to raise birds and they are so good at hiding their illnesses that by the time they show times it's normally too late to do much. Probably not the news you wanted to hear. But do you have any millet? my finches got that as a treat and loved it. I hope the little guy or gal recovers.

Ah...are they still in the same cage? It's best if the ill one is by itself, but next to the cage with other birds, since they are social critters. Even tho you may not see it, a lot of times pals/mates will pick on the ill one, even if they are good with each other normally.
