Q: Last 7 Pills

Is it really important to take the last 7 pills? The sugar pills. I just started taking birth control last month and I took all the pills everyday on time. Now this week I'm on the last 7 pills. I missed 2 pills(Sunday and Monday) and took one last night. I'm not worried cause I know missing those pills won't mess up anything. I'm just not a big fan of taking pills lol. Is it okay to just skip them? I know I will take the other 21 pills, I know those are important. I would just like a break for a week lol. I started getting my period today too, only a little though. I like my periods now lol.

Take a Break

Don't worry not taking the last 7 pills will not make a difference, because they are placebos. I do the same thing with my birth control. There is some difference depending on the actual pill you are taking, but as long as you take all of the "active" ones and remember when you need to start a new set of pills you should be fine.

Extremely eHealthy

There are some 21day pills, if you don't want to take the inactive pills mybe you could ask you doctor about changing to a pill that only has the 21 active pills Smile

Yeah I agree with the other posts.
Technically the last 7 pills (sugar pills) are just there so that you continue to take a pill every day to keep you in the habit of well, taking a pill every day Smile
