Back Pain

can someone please give me some advice i went for a mri scan on my back and my doctor has well confused me here is what the report says
findings:normal vertebral body alignment. There is evidence of disc dehydration at T12/l1 with a schmorles node distorting the superior cortical endplate of l1.More signification disc dehydration is seen at L5/S1 though the disc space here is preserved.
There is a focal area of high signal in the region of the posterior annulus of the L5/S1 disc which is displacing the posterior longitudinal ligament.
The axial section through this region however show that this is causing indentation of the thecal sac and the L5 nerve root exit formination remain spacious.
There is evidence of minor facet joint arthrosis in the lower lumber spine
if someone coudle pls tell me what this all means it would help ive now been off work for just over 4 months and want to return back to work but every time i go back the problem starts up again and takes months for me to be able to cope with it

Did the doctor explain it to you? If not, ask. Sounds to me like you are going to have to deal with back pain for the rest of your life. You will have to learn to manage it with meds. Ask for a second opinion.
