First Cycle On Fertility Drugs And Progesterone...
Posted: 03-14-07 13:31pm

hi,
This is my first cycle TTC and going to a fertility dr. He put me on femora for 5 days, I ovulated fine, had 2 mature follicles, told us to try on day 14, 15 and 16 and put me on progesterone and aspirin after ovulation. (I also miscarried last year) I usually get AF on days 24-28 and I've been experiencing headaches, fatigue and nausia. Today is day 29 and still no AF. I did go in to the clinic yesterday (day 2Cool and they told me that my beta and estragen was low and to stop the progesterone cause AF may come any day now. BUT I spotted a bit on saturday (day 24) and was get cramps before that like AF was coming. Can I still be pregnant and perhaps the beta is not reading that I'm pregnant yet?

I am really not sure. I would think it is possible that you are pregnant, but that it is not showing up yet. I do not believe that those tests pick up on the pregnancy right away, so it is possible that you had just gotten pregnant before getting the beta test.

Can I ask you a question, what day did you start the progesterone? I took Clomid on CD 3-7, Doc advised to BD on CD 14 and every other day after that. Also said to start using progesterone gel on CD 22. Does this sound right to you?
