the oral surgeon says you cannot smoke marijuana up to a week prior surgery. Why is that? What are the risk? I looked everywhere I can't find any indications that it's any worst than smoking cigarettes...anyone knows?

For those wondering the same thing...I smoke weed on a daily basis at night to sleep...and I went for surgery the next morning and I was fine, just a little dopped up from the meds they put you to sleep with. I lived!!!
