Hello, I am really nervous right now! My jaw has been staying pretty loose, but right now everyting hurts, jaw included. I had a sinus infection last week and now my stomach is giving me horrible problems. I have pressure in my chest, pain on my sternum, and when I swallo, I can feel the pain down in my chest. Has anyone had this? I also have acid reflux, and this all seems aggravated by my TMJ. I'm just want a little reassurance that I'm not going to die. Thanks for any help! Amanda

Hi There
let me assure you You are NOT going to die. What kind of doctors are you seeing for your tmd? If you get to a good chiropractor he can help you get over all of those symptoms and perhaps even recommend a good tmj doc too. I know that if it wasnt for my doctor id never be where i am with this. keep us informed of how things are going. Very Happy

Hi Amanda,
Sinus infections or just about anything to do with our sinuses seem to mess around with our TMJ. Your TMJ might have flared up so badly it affected your neck, shoulders and even swallowing. I almost always have shoulder pain even when my TMJ is calm. I can't give you any idea about the stomach pains unless you are just so tense and nervous that you are getting stomach aches over this. That is a good possibility, but I must recommend that you see your doctor. You should be checked out.

Take care and God bless...
Carol
