Well Sunday night I had to go to the
hospital because my midwife wanted to
check me. When I got there I had dilated
to 3 cm. I was having contractions 4-7
minutes apart and I lost my mucus plug.
She said until I dilate to 5 cm and my
contractions are 2-4 minutes apart they
can't give me potassum or anything to
induce me. They made me walk around the
birthing floor for an hour and rock in the
rocking chair to see if I would dilate
more but I didn't get past 3. I didn't
want to lay there for days on end since
she said it could take a few days for me
to dilate to 5 since it's my first baby.
They gave me a shot of morphine and
fenagrin (not sure how to spell those 2 so
if its wrong sorry). I tm ade me really
tired so at like 1:00am monday morning I
decided to go on home. I slept almost all
day yesterday and because the medicine I
was almost pain free.
Last night I started getting my
contractions back and I could not sleep
for anything. I woke up sweating and all
nausiated and I had indigestion for the
first time.
Anyway, I feel real nausiated today but my
contractions have eased off a little so I
don't know whats going on. I go back to
the doctor thursday and hopefully I will
be dilated to 5 so I can get back in the
hospital and have him because I am so
miserable.

basically having a stereotypical "first
time labor".
Baba's really takin it's time huh? lol!!
I can't wait to see pics and hear the rest
of your birthing story!!

Yeah, I hope he decides to come out soon!
He is being stubborn lol. Im not in too
much pain, just really uncomfortable and
all the sudden this last week my face has
gotten so chubby. My brother lives 2
hours away and just had brain surgery to
have a tumor removed. He is not doing too
good and I really want to get down there
to see him but until the baby comes its
not safe in case my water was to break.
I go to see my midwife tommorow so I hope
I have progressed a little. When I hit 5
cm they can give me potassum to help move
it along.
Im still not sure what his name is going
to be. I keep getting new ideas and its
making me so confused. I hope when he is
born and I look at him I can tell what to
name him.
Anyway Ill let everyone know what happens
at the dr. tommorow
