I started taking vicodin about 5 years ago for pain, maybe 5-10 pills a week. Before I knew it it's 5 years later, and I'm eating anywhere from 10-14 pills per day. I have tried many attempts at quitting the past few months, only to last a day or two. I've finally had it and became mentally tough, and with the help of about 5 subuxone. I am now on day 10 with no pills. I still have a little trouble falling asleep, but it's getting easier each day. Mentally it is still tough. I think I need pills in certain situations, like when socializing. Physically I feel better each day. My one question is though. I have not been able to acheive a full erection since I've quit 10 days ago. My sex drive is at an all time low. I am 32 years old. Is this common when quiting vicodin? If so, how long can I expect to be like this? Is there any thing I can do? Please help!
