Q: What Do You Take And Does It Work?

I've been taking some medicine as per the direction of my doc for over a year and a half now.( I don’t want to name the pills as it worked initially ). At first it kind of worked, it cleared the horrible "black cloud" from my head (I always call it a "black cloud" when people ask!), made it easier for me to think. But it didn't make me happier or anything, I know that's for me to work on over time, I've been taking the pills for so long now and my life has come full circle, I feel almost as bad now as I did when starting them! What do you take and is it working for you, do you notice a difference?

Natural Method
Hi there,
I had severe anxiety and nervous breakdowns when I was younger. I'm only middle-aged now but back when I was having these problems it was not common to prescribe drugs. In fact, most of the drugs they have now didn't even exist.
But I was lucky in a way because I really don't think drugs are the answer. They can help temporarily but will do more harm than good if used on a long term basis.
So what finally worked for me? There are two things:
1. Passage of time and getting older. Unfortunately, there's no way this will help you quickly.
2. Breathing. I learned to breathe in a certain way to calm down and fight off panic attacks. I learned it on my own but now there are methods you can read about and learn from the web.
It may not provide all the immediate relief you need at times (though you may be surprised at how powerful it is!) but it's something that will help you all your life and will become more and more useful. And it provides so many other benefits.
I hope I'm not breaking any rules here by posting a link but you can get free instructions and an online demo at:

Good luck!

Xanax
I have been taking Xanax for almost 8 months now and it is working. I also meditate which goea back to the practice of breathing. I quit drinking, smoking, and caffeine and exercise regularly. These are the things that help me.

Later,
OE

Re:anxiety And Stress
All medications work differently with everyone. What is good for you, may not work for me. Work with your doctor to see if there is anything else that you should take. Taking vitamins for it does not always work either. Good luck. Wink

Anxiety
St John's Wort is supposed to be a good natural remedy. I don't know about you but I always feel better after exercise as well.

Re:what Do You Take And Does It Work?
I had taken a course a year back. It’s Theramood product. It worked very good for me and I believe it has given me some long lasting results as I feel mentally relieved and elevated even today. You may find a suitable product at their site theramood.com. I tried a bunch of meds before and the placebo effects of those didn't last very long.
