Alright so, yesterday i got this sore red thing above my lip. I know that automatically is making you think Herpes, BUT, according to what ive read it says Herpes causes pussing blisters. And this is just red, like a zit, but without the head. What can it be do you think?? Confused

It could be a lot of things. A lot of different things have the same symptoms. Also, not everyone shares the exact same symptoms, so we just can't diagnose you over the internet. It could be something as harmless as a pimple. Not all pimples have heads on them. If it sticks around, gets any worse, or if it is possible that you have any STDs, then you might want to ask your doctor about it just to be on the safe side.

Remeber that there are two kinds of herpes... type 1 and type 2. I forget which is which, but one is the cause of the common cold sore, even in children, and is completely harmless XD

The other kind is of course the one you get from sexual contact with an infected partner.
