alright no one is responding to my last post.....but i am pretty worried. I'll tell you my exact symtoms... i have a pain under my left ribcage that comes and goes, heart burn, a bit of weight loss, nasaue, cramps in my stomach, constipation, when i do use the washroom its light brown and very tarry, a few times i saw red spots on top of my bowel but not in the water and for the last few days i just started to notice a discomfort in my rectum, not really a pain but a really weird discomfort where i have to move around or do something to distract the discomfort. I have went to about 5 doctors and all of them tell me its not colon cancer or anything like that, but i mean look at my symptoms...not normal at all.... so they did some bacteria blood tests and nothing came up and there doing a blood test for h pryory infection and gerd so im not sure whats happening...

anyone at all who knows about this stuff please tell me whats up, what should i do, im 19, just moved to a major city, on my own, no family here and the doctors are not taking me seriusly it seems, im scared to tell you the truth, very scared...

Hi
Sorry, Just found your question. I am not a doctor, nor do I claim to be any kind of healer/know it all. Have you considered your diet as a part of the problem? Are you drinking enough water (1 1/2 -2 quarts a day) also, fiber fresh fruits and vegetables daily (keeps the pipes cleaned out). I had the same pain you are describing, nausea, problems going to the bathroom.....gastro did the endoscopy and colonoscopy. Ended up I did have H Pylorie. Did antibiotics and have to go back next week. Am some what better, but its mainly because of my diet changes. Have given up coffee and hot tea...chocolate triggers the pain under rib cage. Alcohol limited as well as Texas Pete! I saw no one had responded back to you and wanted you to know you are not alone.....Have you been to a gastro dr or just primary care physican? Feel free to IM me.
