You probably know many of the symptoms of a cold: sneezing, sore throat, a stuffy nose, and coughing. Do you know the difference between the flu vs. a cold?...

A cold should only last about 10 days according to my sons doctor..If it is any longer than that, or he has a fever of 100 degrees or more you should call his doctor.

They tend to act a little less lively when they have a cold, so I wouldn't be worried. As long as he is still eating okay and his fever doesn't go over 100 he should be alright.

It sounds normal to me to be sleepy and grouchy. But you are mommy, if you are concerned, go ahead and call the pediatrician. They are either going to say don't worry, or bring him in. But try not to stress in the meanwhile. (easier said than done.) All you can really do is give him lots of lovin'.

ok first of all you should be concerned because an infants cold can easily turn into bornchitis or worse pneumonia..you need to carefully monitor his chest and breathing . my son had pneumonia at 27 days old and he was sleeping like crazy after feeding because of his congested lungs which dont let the monoxide we normally release be released which causes them to be lethargic. Please go see the dr .asap you dont wanna take chances
