Q: Dislocation Following Hip Replacement

I had a hip replacement in January this year but unfortunatly suffered a dislocation after 4 weeks. I now have to wear a hip brace 24/7 which is very restricting. I would be interested to hear from any one else who could give me some idea of the long term prognosis for recovery.ie when can I expect to be able to drive again or do some exercise?

Oh, dear.

Well, you still have an upper body!

I might recommend that you get a long-rubber therapy band. They vary according to strength. And you can certainly target strength in the back, arms, and shoulders. Interested? I'll detail some exercises if you respond!
