Major Scarring After Bathtolin Removal Normal? Posted: 03-10-07 06:08am


I seriously need someone to help answer my question? I had my bartholins removed two years ago. I had an emergency surgery, with little consultation. I woke up and there was a gaping hole on the inside of vagin. Over time the hole eventually broke up and now one of my lips is hangin off, like it is going to break free. My doctor said it was the biggest cyst he has ever seen. it was the size of a small cucumber. And yes I got very sick after, 104-105 fever, in the hospital for two days as I got some kind of shcok after...that is what the nurses said. I really dont remember b/c I was ver yout of it. Here are my questions. 1. should my gyno fix this for me, is it covered by health insurance? And most importantly, 2. Has anyone else heard of this happening? This has really taken over my sex life. It now really hurts. and I am so embarraseed by it. I really need some answers.... Thank-you H
