So today Brayden has been extremely fussy, actually he doesn't just fuss, he screams at the top of his lungs. I can't figure out whats wrong. He's generally a very good baby so he's acting totally out of character. I checked his temp and its fine, I don't think he's hungry and his diaper is clean. I know you guys have said things about dairy and stuff making babies fussy but I don't get alot of dairy and therefore I began to access other things and I thought maybe its from caffine? Since my pregnancy I've been addicted to dr pepper and I have one every day or every other day. I was wondering how much caffine is transferred in breat milk? Is it enough to really affect him? Should I cut it out? I haven't had any today, could it be a caffine withdrawl or something?

This may be totally out there, I don't know. I'm just searching for answers, I need a little peace. If anyone has any ideas or any ways to sooth him let me know!!! thanks

It sounds to me like he probably has an ear infection. Babies don't always get a fever if they have an ear infection. I would call his doctor and make an appointment..

hmm... I agree with .Sam.. but it could also be something else, like gas. Try giving him mylicon. see if that helps.

I thought about an ear infection but I thought he'd be messing with his ears if that was it. But I'll definately look into that. The doctor is closed tomorrow but we already have an appt for next week so I'll ask then! Thanks guy, since this is my first little guy I was worried because I can't tell whats wrong and i don't know what to expect.

how about gas.. i know that don gets fussy and fustrated if he cant poop or get a burp or gas out.. sometimes rubbing him for a while and patting him works.. but i agree with the about about ear infections.. i know with children i watched they hurt but that was really the only symptom that stood out
