Q: Blueballs?

This question is completely out of curiosity, and I'm not intending to be a smart ass. I just got to thinking about it the other day and the guys I've asked about it are stumped.

If a man has a condition (either from infertility, surgury, or illness) and does not produce or ejaculate sperm, is it possible for him to still suffer from "blueballs"?

i'm going to go out on a limb and say yes. if he has a desire for sex and can have sex, but is not getting any - then he could suffer from "blueballs" too!!! Arrow Mad

Yes, the prostate and cowper glands will still secrete. In addition, the main idea behind 'blue balls' is that the penis and nerves around it are brought close to excitetation and then this is stopped before it finishes, thus the problem. It's due to nervous excitation (incomplete) as well as the flush of blood to the area and lack of release through orgasm. Has little, if anything as far as I know, do to with sperm.
