Hi just wondering if anyone could help me. I am about 5 weeks Pregnant and Due Nov 3. But I was wondering what is the earliest time you could get a positive pregnancy test.. Mine was positive when i would have only been about 3 weeks or so. and also is it normal not to have any signs of being pregnant

It's normal not to have any signs of pregnancy. My mom never showed any signs. But I got every frickin sign possible. It's different for everyone. The digital pregnancy tests are always great. It will tell you if your pregnant or not pregnant. But ept tests are also great. Try the digital and see what that says.

To my knowledge, pregnancy test are sensitive enough to give you a positive that early. That being said, you could also be further along than you think. That happens very often, especially if it was not a planned pregnancy. (not say that it was planned or unplanned, just for the sake of argument) Did you tell your doctor that you thought you may be further along? They can do a dating ultrasound if you or your doctor have any doubts.

I found out I was pregnant at only 3 weeks. It is possible to detect pregnancy even a few days before your expected period, but more than likely a few days after.
You could possibly be farther along but probably not much. They determine your due date at first by the first day of your lmp, and then with scans they can determine, quite accurately how far along you are as well.

the very earliest you can get a positive pregnancy test is about 10 days post ovulation.
This is typically about 4 days before your period is due and will only be detected by a blood test or exceptionally sensitive pee test (less than 20iu/ml)

at this point you would be 10 days gestation (time since conception) or formally 3 weeks and 4 days.

If you are meaning the gestational age of the baby to be 3 weeks when you test then you are formally 5 weeks pregnant.
