Well I went to see my midwife today. I am 37 weeks and 2 days along. His head is all the way down and so he is ready to come out almost! I have been having period like cramps every few hours and my midwife said they are contractions.

She said unless my water breaks or I start to bleed, just come home and relax and wait on them to get really strong and closer together before I call. It could be today or it could be another week or so. She said he has his back against my back somehow which has been giving me major back pains.

She gave me some yoga like exercises to do that will hopefully h\make him turn around. If he don't she said I am in for some major painful back labor. HELP

Also, my Group B strep came back positive. She said it is inherited from parents and I have it so she said its harmless to me but it could cause little man to get an infection or something when im in labor so when I go to have him I have to be put on antibiotics. Has anyone else had this? It kind of freaks me out cause I don't know much about it????

They'll give you antibiotics through your iv when you go into labor. The antibiotics will/should help prevent your baby from contracting group b strep. He'll probably be just fine. Women test positive for it all the time. You'll be taken care of. Smile

i tested postive also, dont worry its nothing, i was worried also i was so confused... all they will do is put you on a .i.v which clears up the group strep so by the time ur baby is there it wont be down there anymore

Exactly what .laura said, it's common for women to test positve with their group b strep test.
Lets hope the little guy decides to turn so you have a little easier labor! Good luck, let us know if you take of to the hospital! If you've got time of course! Wink
