Pretty much guaranteed to not be an STD. It could be a pimple, ingrown hair, or just a cyst. I've had a few cysts on the shaft of my penis before. After a shower one day they softened and I popped one and a white ball/substance came out. The next day I had an unrelated dermatologist appointment and had him look at the other two. Confirmed they were cysts and removed them. The one I popped healed up in a couple days, the two he removed took a couple weeks to fully heal.

Give it a few days and it should heal up considering you've popped it. Put some antibacterial ointment if you want.

keep your penis clean is a good way to prevent those from happening again.

I have the same problem and have had a small cyst like thing on my shaft for a few years now, It has grown a bit bigger but have tried to squeeze it but nothing happens, infact the more I squeeze it, it just seems to make it get bigger, how did the dermatologist remove them? this bothers me and was it painful? Any treatments out there I can use to remove it?

My cysts looked similar to a hardened whitehead. One softened in a shower and was very easy to pop and I didn't try the others. So heat and steam would probably help soften it up for popping if you're sure you have a simple cyst and want to pop it.

Doctor just used a tool, probably similar to a blackhead remover. It's not really painful so you won't need any painkillers or anything. Just a short sharp pain and done in under a minute.
