As the women on the pregnancy forum told you, you're already pregnant.

Birth control pills do not end a pregnancy, they prevent one.

Since you are already pregnant, if you want to end this pregnancy, you will need an abortion. An abortion will kill the fetus; you will not give birth to a baby; it will die. I'm pro-choice but I feel like I need to tell you this since you seem very ignorant, and I don't want you having the wrong idea about abortion. That happens to too many women; and an uninformed abortion can lead to post-operative stress and guilt.

Please, let us know what's going on.

And
Also, Eiri, an uninformed abortion can lead to medical risks, such as infertility because you could do something wrong, like have sex earlier than you are supposed to, or something like that.

Just wanted to let everybody know that things like that can happen.

You may not know, but the word ignorant is not an insult. It simply means uneducated. The poster seemed very uneducated about pregnancy and abortion. I wished to educate them and make sure they had all the details they needed.

'Ignorant' can describe a person who "doesn't know something" or "is rude through lack of knowledge of manners"; it was very clear that Eiri was meaning the former.
