I recently just had protected sex for the first time ever and a few days later i started bleeding like my period would be so im guessing thats what i have. I dont kno if i could be preg. or have a medical condition because i had a yeast infection for about 6 months leaving it untreated i dont know if having sex ruptured something or what, any ideas?

How do you know it was an untreated yeast infection? Has it since been treated?

As with anything gynocological, you should go see a doctor to see what is going on down there.

Often women will bleed after they have sex from the rupture of membranes that can be intact until you have sex. This is completley normal!

If you don't know when your period is, this could also be your period.

Now that you are sexually active, it is time to get informed on sex and what your body will do. Write on the calendar when you have your period (marking the first day is fine), then when your next period starts mark that day on the calendar too. The time inbetween is how long your cycle is. An average cycle is 28 days - although not all women fall in this category. Sometimes people have different cycles every month, they have irregular cycles. Doing this, you'll always know when or if you are late for your period. It is a good reminder.

Always use birth control when engaging in sex. Always use condoms when having sex. You can make an appointment with planned parenthood. It's free and they won't tell your parents. They can give you a ton of information regarding sex and your body.
