Q: Epilepsy And Pregnancy

Hey all,

My name is Carla and i am 22 years old and i have had epilepsy since i was 14.

I am 6 weeks pregnant with my second child... i accidently got pregnant while on 1000mg epilum and 600mg tegretol CR... so the doctor told me to go right down to 200mg tegretol. So i did, and i had 2 seizures in a row last week and am scared to death that it has hurt my baby!

2 questions...
Has anyone ever fallen pregnant on epilum and tegretol? If so, was ur baby alright?
And has anyone ever had a Grand Mal Seizure in the early stages of pregancy?

I am really scared that my baby is hurt and i am also scared that i am going to keep fitting. If anyone has any comments at all i would really appreciate a reply... i can't stop stressing about it!!!
