About 9 months ago, I was diagnosed with mono, and though that has completely passed, I had stomach pains and upon endocopy, was told I had mild gastritis with no sign of H Pylori. I have had several Catscans all negative, blood/stool lab tests all negative and have been prescribed aciphex, How can my stomach do this all of a sudden and last for so long? Anyone else had Gastritis without H. Pylori? Also, I don't drink, don't use aspirin, and am a 22 year old male in good shape. Additionally, I have lost 25 pounds as a result and got tiny gallstones, which are not in any ducts and are supposedly no problem and should require no surgery. Any ideas, suggestions, comments, anything? I'm starting to get frustrated since, I've never been sick and never had surgery and this side pain and digestive issues are becoming quite a handicap.

I see your post is somewhat dated. I need to point ou tto you that left-sided pain and gal bladder issues don't usually go hand-in-hand, as your gall bladder is on the right side. You appendix is also on the right side. have your symptoms decreased, or is it still bothering you?
