About 9 months ago, I was diagnosed with mono, and though that has completely passed, I had stomach pains and upon endocopy, was told I had mild gastritis with no sign of H Pylori. I have had several Catscans all negative, blood/stool lab tests all negative and have been prescribed aciphex, How can my stomach do this all of a sudden and last for so long? Anyone else had Gastritis without H. Pylori? Also, I don't drink, don't use aspirin, and am a 22 year old male in good shape. Additionally, I have lost 25 pounds as a result and got tiny gallstones, which are not in any ducts and are supposedly no problem and should require no surgery. Any ideas, suggestions, comments, anything? I'm starting to get frustrated since, I've never been sick and never had surgery and this side pain and digestive issues are becoming quite a handicap.

that sounds odd, im guessing maybe the mono weakened you and thats how you got the gastritis i duno. hopefully the meds you have are helping, as for the stones i really hope they do not cause a problem for you, i have gallstones and omg when u get a pain attack it hurts soooooooooooo bad it sucks, so hopefully yours are just silent stones, id still get regular checkusp to make sure ur gallbladder doesnt become inflamed or anything. i wish i could offer more advice but i dont really know where to start or what to say to help in anyway.
