Q: How Long Do Sperm Live For?

So my girlfriend and i were mutually masturbating eachother, and i ejaculated, however some of it got on the finger that i WAS fingering my girlfriend with. i decided to wipe it off and then i decided i probably shouldn't finger her anymore because i didn't know if sperm lived for a long time or not. can someone clear this up for me?

Extremely eHealthy

Sperm usually lives outside of the body for about a couple of hours. If it is kept warm and moist, it can live for longer. If it is kept too hot or too dry, it will not live long. Basically, if it is still wet, there is a good chance that it is still alive. However, to be on the safe side, always be careful with semen, whether it is wet or dry.
