Q: Undergoing Treatment For Pid

Quick question for those of you that have had PID.

I just got out of the hospital this past weekend where I took antibiotics via IV. I'm now taking doxycyclene 100mg/twice a day and still having cramps and bleeding. Is this common when recovering from PID or should I phone the doc?

I Had Pid
Thanks to a cheating ex I got more then PID. But PID was associated with it. For me I had lots of cramping, nausea so bad that i could not lay down or move b/c of motion sickness. I think that PID is pretty commonly associated with cramping. At least it was for me. I tokk some antibiotics and did a follow up later and it was gone. The symptoms wore away eventually after treatment.

Hang in there. Ask your doc for advice, but I think they will say that you should wait it out for a little bit to see how the treatment is going.

By the way, I never had that much treatment as you. I find that odd.....
