The head of the penis is smooth and quite pleasant, easily accesable, and it is the most sensitive part of the penis. By focusing on the head, she can make you orgasm faster. Deep-throating or even taking much of the penis into the mouth is not necessary for pleasurable fellatio (oral sex).

If your current girlfriend is the only woman you have ever seen doing this, then you can't apply it to all women. Also, your sexual advice for women on these forums objectifies them and is generally unhelpful.

As for why some women do that, there are many reasons. As Eiri said, the head is typically the most sensitive part of the penis. Also, to take the entire penis into the mouth can become uncomfortable or even painful if done for any length of time. Your average woman would probably tire out long before the male ejaculated if she tried to shove it down her throat the entire time.

It makes sense to focus on the head of the penis. That does not necessarily mean that women who do that "love" it or are "hooked" on it as you put it. I am sure there are some women who do love it and are hooked on it, but I doubt we are talking about a majority here.

If you enjoy having the shaft of your penis stimulated more, then say so. There is no reason not to communicate during sex.

well, if us women are understanding correctly - the head of the penis is said to be the most sensitive. therefore, paying more attention to the head = faster ejaculation. in some cases.

it could be a number of things, you might be larger than average and girls find that they gag when they take all of you in their mouth or it could be that some girls your having sexual relations with find it easier to breath just consentrating on the head of you penis... as long as the experience is pleasurable i wouldnt worry... if you really want your gf to concentrate on the rest of your penis then have a talk with her.. bring it up (outside of the bedroom)...and say you love what she does and it would turn you on even more if she could lick and suck you all over...
