My daughter is starting to hate bathtime... She is almost 4 months old and She screams during bath time... I have an infant bath with one of those sling support thingys. She has been using that sling thing until now but she hates it now... is she too old for it? HOw should I bathe her? How should I position her? Should she sit up in one of those bath seats? OR should she continute to use the sling thingy? HELP!

i used the infant bath until just last week. amelia hated her bathtime until she realized that she could splash. lol that was at about 6 months old....now i just got her a ducky bath tub (blowup by munchkin) and she love love loves it. i like it too because she sits up really good in it. (she cant' sit up yet.) it's great. i love it. i can't see filling up the bath every day or everyother day to give her a bath...so i use less water in this. so far so good.

hey hun, well landon outgrew his bathtub pretty quick too. and i didnt like the mesh kinda bathseat thingys , i haven't tried the plastic ones because he LOVES to swim. so i just hold him with one hand underneath his belly and he kicks and splashes and i moves him up and down the bathtub like hes swimming and he loves it, and then i put him on his back holding his head so his head doesnt go in the water and he kicks and stuff he likes it that way. we take him to the pool and he floats on his belly and kicks like he does in the bath hehe, so landon likes that way, its something to try if you like! Smile Good luck!

Alyvia didn't start sitting up until just a few days ago. And even then, she can only do it for a few minutes if she's not distracted. She topples over a lot. Shocked

.we're looking into getting her a bath seat soon!

I had .oni in her bath seat at 3 months.

SHe just rested on it. I felt that it helped her sit up a lot quicker!

SOrry it's so big, I didn't feel like re sizing it!
Just wanted yall to see how young she was when she first got it!

i bathe finn in the sink. it is *so* much easier and quicker than when i did it in his baby tub. he loves it too, we have a double basin sink so one is just the right size for him and he absolutely loves when i spray him the with the sprayer, and it makes rinsing his hair and all the soap off him wicked easy.

once he outgrows the sink i'm going to get one of the inflatable munchkin tubs like gen has. i have a bad back and right now it's just easier for me to stand at the sink than to have to get down on the floor by the tub.

This is probably a really stupid idea so please don't laugh at me. But, have you tried giving him something to entertain him? A squishy toy or something. Maybe it would keep him distracted long enough to not notice whats going on.
