Relax, there's nothing wrong with you!
This position allows for extremely deep
penetration. The pain you are feeling is
similar to pain that I feel in this
position, and it is caused by the penis
hitting the cervix; very painful indeed
for most women! I can take - and even
enjoy - a certain amount of this pain, but
even I have had to tell my boyfriend to
back off about an inch once or twice

"Deep thrust dyspareunia" is just a phrase
that means that you have pain during sex
when there is deep penetration, so it
sounds like you certainly do have that.
Your next step would be to talk to your
ob-gyn. There are many things that can
cause this kind of pain. We can't tell
you exactly why it is happening over the
internet. Like Eiri said, there is a good
chance that it is nothing really, but
mention it to your ob-gyn just in case.
Endometriosis is one thing that can cause
pain during sex, but there are many others
as well. Endometriosis has symptoms other
than just pain during sex for many women,
but some women have few or no symptoms.
You would have to talk to your ob-gyn
about it since it isn't something that
would show up on your routine pap. Here
is a site with more information:
