Anytime you have sex you are putting yourself at risk of becomming pregnant, you can get pregnant period or not, birth control or not..... A.N.Y.T.I.M.E!!

Hope this helps! If i was you and you didnt want to get pregnant, i would be using condoms as well, not 100% effective but better odds than just the pill!!

No. You are as protected during the placebo pills as you are during the active pills. This is about 85-95% with average use of the pills.

The pill is highly effective on its own, and when used properly is 98% effective. When used with condoms, the chances of pregnancy are insignificant. If you hear of a woman who becomes pregnant while on the pill and condom, then she was either using the pills wrong, the condom wrong, she is resistant to the horomones, or she was on some kind of antibiotic.
