Anyone With Any Thoughts Or Advise? Posted: 08-26-03 18:16pm
I had my first ob appt today, and as per
the Dr. I am 5 wks 6 days pregnant, I
have been spotting since sunday, they did
an ultrasound and said they didn't see the
sack. They said it could just be to early
or that the egg was just an empty egg that
fertilized. They did some blood work and
scheduled another appointment for thursday
to repeat the blood work. They also
started me on progestrone. I am 40 years
old and some people have said that my
harmone level may have been low because of
my age and I may not have been developing
as fast as I should and now that I have
started progestrone, things might all be
ok.
If anyone has any thoughts or suggestions,
they would greatly be appreciated.

From what I have heard, woman 40 and over
have more complications in pregnancy then
younger women, so thats probably all it
is... As long as the problems are taken
care of, you have nothing to worry
about... Any time you feel somthings
wrong, you should go to the doctors...
