Q: Questions About Leep

Hi, I have recently been diagnosed with severe cervical dysplasia. I am scheduled to have a LEEP in a couple of weeks, but I am a little worried about the procedure itself. I have SVT (supraventricular tachycardia), and things I have been reading from other people who have had it said their heart starts to beat really fast, feels like it's going to beat out of their chest, etc. because of the lidocaine that is given as a local block. Of course I will tell my doctor, but does anyone have any sort of experience with a similar condition or heart problem? I am assuming this reaction is because the lidocaine is given with epinephrine to make it work faster, but I am not sure.

Also, I guess I am just a little disappointed to find out that the LEEP is also a diagnostic test... I thought I was 100% cancer free but now I am finding out that there is still a chance (I'm sure a small one) that I could have invasive cancer? I'm also scared because of how fast this all happened... had a normal PAP a year ago and then find all this out... scary. Is it possible that I could seriously develop invasive cancer in just a year?
