Q: White, de-pigmented skin
asked by: DoctorQuestion on March 5th, 2007
I have a white circular mark on my outer lower lip that kinda looks like a blister. Its painless and doesn't bother me. I am 21 years old and have had it since I can remember. It seems like it may be getting larger. Do you have any idea what it may be or how i could get rid of it?

Given the description of a “white circular mark on the skin from the childhood”, you could be experiencing a de-pigmented skin area. De-pigmented skin grows because you are growing. If you've acquired congenital de-pigmentation, this condition can’t be cured and doesn’t need to be cured. Nonetheless, you may consult a dermatologist about the white circular mark for a true diagnosis.

White spot on lower lip
I have a small spot on my lower lip that happened after permanent makeup was applied. I believe there was trauma to the skin and now it is a small scar. Is there anyway to get pigment back to that spot?
