I had my son 7 weeks ago and I was wondering how soon my period would come back or when I should expect it before we start to think we could be prego again since we werent thinking about that when we had sex after his birth. He is my first child and I do not breastfeed. Can anyone give me a ballpark or answer? Thanks!

it's different for everyone.

if you've been having unprotected sex you should take a test. you're very fertile after giving birth and since you haven't had a period you wouldn't know when you ovulate. you ovulate *before* your period so there's a chance you already have but didn't know it.

i suggest taking a test and if it's negative getting on some form of birth control.

good luck!

I agree, take a test and if your aren't pregnant, then you need to go back to your doctor and figure out what type of birth control is good for you.

good luck
