Just wondering who has taken this pill? If they had any side effects or mood swings , weight gain etc. I will be starting this in about a week or so. Before i was on estro step and had no problems but that isnt available at the pharmacy here so they are giving me orthotricylcen instead. Just want any ones opinions on this particular pill. Smile thanks

ortho-lo can be started in two ways: on the first day of your period, in which case protection starts immdiately, .o.r you can start it whenever you want during the month (wednesday of next week if you felt like it) but you will not be protected until one week is up.

As for the pill itself, I am on ortho-lo and I absolutely love it! I've had no side effects at all.

usually online you will only see negative comments, as the happy women will not be posting their problems...

You may do very well with this pill!

The only way you will know for sure is if you try!!

oh i c, alot of people seem to like ortho, but i am on the generic , they give that to u unless u specify differently so i am taking tri nessa. my husband picked up the birth control lol so go figure, but i think those people just aer idiots that i read patient reviews. cuz any drugs generic cannot contain a different ingredient then the brand name. most are even made in the same factory, i learned this working at walgreens , with there name brand pain killers versus tylenol etc. they arent allowed to change ingredients , same with baby formula etc. so i think those people are full of it and half is in there heads i dunno. Everyones body reacts differently to each diff pill, my friend was on depo never had aperiod did great , my sister was on it bled an entire month gained a ton of wait and went like psycho. so yeah they all affect everyone differently. im gonna search some more though and see if i can find good reviews on it or something rather then all the bad ones.
