It can take a long time. However, you can always go to your doctor and discuss things if you feel you've waited long enough for your body to return to normal.

Your periods may never be normal. When I wasn't on the pill mine were about the same as yours. Spotting here and there and no idea when. For some women they are just irregular.

Im sorry to hear about what you are going through. Was it the pill or Depo shot? When I got off the pill Dec.2005 my periods went right back to normal in Jan 2006 the nect month but on the pill I bled every month anyway (painful,annoying) the pill took the pain away..Some people get on the pill to regulate their period from it. If u were on the shot Im sorry I don't know..Different people bodies react differently you know. Ask your doctor about it I bet your fine...

I went off of the pill in August of 2008. I had a 'normal' period in September and October, but in November-April I have had a 'normal' period and 2 weeks later a very light period. It is really annoying. My husband and I have decided to try to get pregnant, but I have no idea when I ovulate, since I have 2 periods a month. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do?
