Q: Acl Graft Pros Vs. Cons

i am having acl reconstruction in a few weeks and am choosing the donor gaft as opposed to the hamstring graft ive had previously on my other knee a few years ago. what are your expeiriences or opinions regarding donor vs. hamstring grafts??

Well, I wished I'd chosen donor graft, as I now have a 4 inch long scar running down my knee....but to be honest...I wish I hadn't had the ACL repair done at all. I was a high school athlete, and my mother convinced me to have the surgery. Little did I know that life after sports does not require side-to-side movement all that often.
