finn's been sitting up for about 2 weeks now, so he started at about 3 1/2 months. he will still occasionally topple over or fall back if he's tired or excited so i don't quite trust him enough to walk away while he's sitting.

Trace sat up on his own, no assistance, at exactly 6 months. before that he would always fall over.

she is sooo busy and wants to be into everything already......i know i am going to be ripping my hair out in a week orso when she starts crawling.....she would rather be scooting around on her belly then trying to learn how to sit up....but that's my girl.

there is no actual age...as you can see every baby started at a different time..some babies are physically stronger...my son sits for a few secs and falls over hes 3 months so he will start sitting soon...
