Q: Burning Bloated Starting At Ribs Downward

Hi, i am a 22 yr old female! last march i got really sick had to drop out of school and am still in the same rutt with my health, i was just wondering if anyone else has ever had syptoms like mine, or have any ideas what could be a possibilty. It started with really bad gas and diarrhea for about 3 months, then a persistent throb(my heart beats really loud all the time i can hear it and feel it where my discomfort is) began along my lower ribs.. it hurts through to my mid back, the more i do the more my back hurts.. Eating doesnt seem to change it, its always there, I get really bloated pretty much all the time, even if i just drink water.. i just ache constantly through my middle and cant do anything..I also get really bad weeks for pain shooting up my spine into my head and neck..I know this is a wierd mix of symptoms but if anyone has any idea at all i would really appreciate it, i have had a whack load of tests, But even those i dont really trust because they only did half a colonoscopy because they said the tube wasnt flexible but maybe it was a sign something was wrong with my colon! i dont know!! anyways

What kind of tests did you have done? just the colon one? id suggest being checked more thoroughly, like MRI. gallstones. liver , kindeys, there are soo many diff tests to find out what could be wrong.

Well..i have had half of a colonoscopy because the tubes were inflexible, there trying to book me in again this week, but i am alittle traumatized Shocked

from the last painful experince, i have had a gastroscopy, lots of blood work(i guess that sometimes checks the liver), two ultrasounds(abdomen&heart), h. pilori, ECG, rare parasites and toxin blood work, chest x-ray, I also had an mri of my head(due to headaches)So i mean i have had a good run of tests, they do find little things like bladder infection and swollen colon, but they never suggest anything or have any way to help me, and i am unable to function normally.

Hi, I have similar symtoms. I have for ten years now. I have a burning, nagging pain that starts from the top of the left side of my rib cage. It constantly feels like something is stuck there. I have also loud noises, and when I push on my stomach, I can hear the air inside. I also notice that when it gets really bad, my heart races. I have heart palpitations. When that happens, I lye down, and softly push the air from that area, and the palpitations go away. I tell my doctors about it, and the only thing they reccommend, is that I not push on my stomach. I sometimes go 3 weeks without a bowel movement, even when I take something to help. It doesn't help. Im glad that you posted, because I thought I was crazy to think that what I had would cause my heart to race. I also can hear it sometimes, and it feels like it is beating out of my chest. Well, I have seen 25 doctors, and have had alot of test, some of them 4 times over, and they can't tell me what is wrong. According to them, I am a healthy person. You describe everything I have been feeling for the last few months. I just went through blood tests, abdomen and pelvic ultrasounds, medication for acid reflux and all the gynecological stuff just to rule that out. The only thing the ultrasound showed was some edema around the bowel - which means some inflammation. Sometimes I feel like I'm packing around a water balloon in there! But my doctor's don't think that should be causing the stomach, back and abdomen pain.

Please share if you find any relief or get any answers. I'm actually thinking of going to a chiropractor next. In prior situations whenever I had my back manipulated it always made my stomach feel better. Go figure.

that happens tome too.
i can hear really loud water noises in my stomach, i can hear the acid on my left side right under my ribb cage.
also after i eat , i can hear it.
its really loud,it sounds worse than when you shake a gallon of water..
aslo when i push on it.
i can also hear it move to different positons.
this is weird.
The doctors told me the same thing that im healthy.
what if we are being tested by aliens,the goverenment.
because for sure something is wrong.

also my heart pulpitates real fast sometimes,and i can see my chest,stomach,pounding to.
it bothers me its so f-en stressing.
i was told i had gastritis ,but i doubt my body pulpitations are because of gastritis ..
any suggestions.
